You only need one account for all children in Randolph Elementary. You will need a another account in another system if you have any children who are secondary school students.

Parents of children in grades 3, 4, and 5 are able to view their child's attendance, grades, and assignments online. (Most teachers provide assignments through their websites rather than through GradeSpeed.)

You will need the full 6 digit identity number for each student. All student IDs begin with either "00" or "01". The cafeteria uses only the last 4 digits of the 6 digit number. GradeSpeed uses all 6.

If you enter an incorrect number, the processing screen displays the application, but has "Can't Approve" in place of the "Approve" button. Nothing can be done except to reject the application and send the notification email.

• 4930 could not possibly work. It's only 4 digits.


• 004930 could be a correct number. It has 6 digits. It begins with 00.


• 014930 could also be a correct ID number. It has 6 digits. It begins with 01.


• If your child has a number that begins with 00, you must use the 00 number.


• It they have a 01 number, you must use the 01 number.


• If they have a 01 number, you cannot use a 00 number.


• If they have a 00 number, you canot use a 01 number.
