Dear Senior Parent,

Graduation is fast approaching! Please continue to encourage your senior to come to school on a daily basis and complete all of their requirements so they can graduate.
Please remember that graduation will be held at Steele Auditorium, located at 1300 FM, 1103, Cibolo, Texas, on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 7:00pm.
Graduation practice will also be held at Steele Auditorium on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 9:30am.
Practice attendance is mandatory.

Starting on May 7, 2012, you will be able to pick up your allotted graduation tickets at the school from Mrs. Ridley in the front office. Mrs. Ridley can be reached at 357-2400. Each graduating senior will be allotted nine tickets. At the time of pickup, you may request additional tickets. We ask that you request only the number of tickets you will use. After we have distributed all the tickets for seniors, faculty and special guests we will call parents who requested additional tickets. We will try our very best to accommodate your request with no guarantees.
Parents are the only ones who will be able to pick up graduation tickets. Due to past conflicts, we will not allow other parties or seniors to pick up tickets
In past graduations, we have had no more than 850 people in attendance. Steele auditorium has over 900 seats. No standing room. The graduates will be seated on stage so they are not included in this figure. Parents have until May 29, 2012 to pick up their tickets.

This letter will provide you with information regarding, dates, deadlines and activities for your senior.

Sunday, May 27 Baccalaureate – Chapel I: 00 – 4:00 PM
Monday, May 28
Tuesday, May 29 Exams: Government/Economics 8:00-10:00 / English 10:05-11:50
Wednesday, May 30 Exams: Math 8:00 -10:00 and Science 10:05-11.50
Thursday, May 31 Exams Elective 8:00 – 10:00 and Elective 10:05 – 11:50
Friday, June 1 Graduation Practice – Steele Auditorium – 9:30 AM (Mandatory)
Friday, June 1 Graduation – Steele Auditorium – 7pm
Project Graduation – Incredible Pizza – 10:00PM-6:00AM

Seniors may be released at noon on exam days if they are finished. They must have a signed note from a parent/guardian. See bottom of this letter.

For seniors to be able to walk the stage, all fines/charges must be paid in full, in addition to meeting all academic credit requirements and fulfilling the 90% attendance law.

Please continue to encourage your senior to do his/her very best work and to come to school every day.

As part of the graduation ceremony, we recognize students who receive scholarships. I am requesting your assistance in gathering your child’s scholarship offers for the purpose of recognizing them during the graduation ceremony.
Please list all the scholarship offers extend to your child on the attached form, including those not accepted. For verification purposes, please attach a copy of the scholarship notification letter verifying your child is the recipient of each scholarship. Without verification, I will be unable to announce your child’s scholarship award(s) during the graduation ceremony.
Please submit the requested scholarship information by Friday, May 4, 2012.
