The parent will be liable for a replacement fee if the laptop is not returned, and for
repair costs to the computer not covered under the standard or accidental damage warranties for the computer."

The replacement fee is fixed for all laptops each year.
The replacement fee (for each graduation year) is as follows for school year 2010-2011:

2012 HP 6510b                 $ 575.00
2013 Dell Latitude E5400    $ 775.00
2014 HP ProBook 6440b     $ 975.00

The replacement fee includes, but is not limited to, the cost of the hardware, software licenses, and personnel costs for time involved.

The laptops have limited coverage for Accidental Damage.

There are additional costs for lost or damaged items, including, but not limited to:
AC Adapter: $ varies greatly $40 - $150
Laptop Cases: $30

Broken Screens are not always covered, or only partially covered. Any cost is passed on. Costs have been from about $300 to $700. The first accidental screen breakage is covered.
