The campus performance objective for Randolph High School is:
All students will develop an assertion based on expository (nonfiction) text and
support that assertion with relevant evidence. A four point rubric (based on the
TAKS ELA expository short answer response rubric) will be used to assess
students’ written responses to the task given. Low performing and “at risk”
students will be reported separately to track their writing skills improvement.
Students in grades nine through twelve will improve from 46% to at least 70% on TAKS
objective 3, analysis and evaluation using short answer expository selections. |
