Six Flags trip is May 12th 8am-7pm.
Congratulations to all the Middle school students for a great concert. Everyone has worked very hard and I am very proud of your results.
Congratulations to the Middle School Band. They recieved 9th place at the State level of the ATSSB Outstanding Performance Series Band Contest. Our middle school now has one of the top bands in the State of Texas here at Randolph.
Music is a very enjoyable and rewarding skill and we are very excited to share our enjoyment of music with you. Please use the links to the left to help you keep informed about the upcoming events and assignments for the band program.
For Middle School Students who are participating in Marching Band:
NEW STUDENTS & 8th GRADERS
Band Camp is a great way for new students to meet other with a common interest and to make new friends at their school. New students that have received an acceptance letter to Randolph MS/HS or families that will be living on base, please show up to summer band even if you have not registered for classes. Here at Randolph HS, 8th Graders that already know how to play an instrument are encouraged to be a part of the RoHawk Marching Band. New students please email me your name, grade and what instrument you play so that we can add you to the drill design for the halftime show.

WHAT TO BRING
•POSTITVE ATTITUDE
•Water bottle is MANDATORY EVERYDAY due to the heat and it WILL be used as a teaching tool. Bottle straps will be issued so that the students may drink water at anytime during the day. Water coolers will be available to refill their bottles.
•Bring your instrument and any music you may have. Marching instruments will be checked out at 10:30am
•Bring a pencil
•Wear athletic shoes with socks – no sandals, etc.
•Dress for warm weather as we will be outside for part of the day.
•Cap and sunglasses

8-10:30am Marching outside
10:45-Noon Sectionals- Show Music
Noon-12:30pm Lunch- Bring a sac lunch or have it delivered.
12:30-1:10pm Sectionals- Stands Tunes
1:20-2:00pm All Together
SUMMER BAND CAMP
Evening Rehearsals
MONDAY NIGHT REHEARSALS
Evening rehearsals will be EVERY MONDAY or on Tuesday if were off on Monday from 6-8pm. Attendance is MANDATORY. YES we will have evening rehaersal on the first day of school. We will have to perform on Friday Night and we will not have the chance to practice Monday morning. Wednesday morning also be lost due to band Band Pictures. That only leaves us three morning rehearsals to prepare for our first performance.
