is seeking community and business representatives to serve on the committee for the 2009-2010 school year.
This committee is responsible for providing assistance to the superintendent in the development, evaluation and annual revision of a district improvement plan. DWIC also assists in determining the district’s performance objectives and provides input in improving student achievement.
To serve as a community representative on the committee, you must reside in the district, be at least 18 years of age and cannot have a student who attends RFISD.
To serve as a business representative, you must be a business owner. Your business does not need to be located in the district nor must you be a resident of the district.
The DWIC meets once a month with the first meeting on Tuesday, October 20, 2009.
