There will be a Parent Meeting, which is required for parents of all 2010 volleyball athletes in the library on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 11 at 6:30 pm.

We have arranged a very good deal on "Active Ankle" ankle support system for our volleyball players. I recommend that each player purchase one for each ankle in order to preven injuries during the course of her volleyball career. The cost is $45. You may send a check made out to RHS with your daughter at any time.

Players have the option of puchasing a travel bag for the season. These are very high quality bags which usually retail for about $45.00. We have a source that will sell them to us for $35.00 each. If you would like to purchase one, please send a check made out to RHS with your daughter by Friday, August 14, 2009. Click on the link to view the stats videos. www.ncaa.com/statistics/w-volley-stats.html Print the "Easy Print Statistician's Manual" and skim over it. Also print "Helpful Hints for Statisticians." Put these in a 3-ring binder. Then watch "Example Videos." All athletes will be quizzed over these at All-Squad practice on MONDAY, AUGUST 10; however, you are expected to have your notebook with 5 dividers by All-Squad practice WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 5.

Attached is the art work for the 2009 volleyball shirts. They will, once again, be a great looking spirit shirt! Order forms will be coming soon.

NOTE:
Senior Varsity Team Members will have all three art proofs on long sleeves.
Varsity Team Members will have front with name and number on back of a long sleeve shirt.
JV Team Members will have front only on a long sleeve shirt.
Parents will be able to purchase a short sleeve shirt with the spirit font.

All paperwork must be turned in PRIOR to participation in volleyball. Please deliver your forms (physical, medical history, acknowledgement of rules, steroid waiver and travel/medicine release) to the athletic director to receive a verification notice to take to your coach. Without clearance, athletes will not be allowed to practice.

All athletes that have an office visit, must turn in a "cleared to participate" note in order to practice. Without the note, the athlete will have to sit out until cleared.
